I am an introverted, open-minded, fun-loving person who is originally from the San Francisco bay area. I am an international development professional and the mother of an amazing, smart, music-loving, sports-oriented child. I live in the Washington, DC area and I spend my spare time enjoying meeting people, yoga, jazz, christian rock, travel, gardening, cooking, reading and writing. When I am inspired, I retreat to my quiet place, muse, write, and sometimes share. When I grow up, I want to teach at a university. Until then, I will continue exploring the world, connecting with its people, learning as much as I can, and sharing as I go.

I am not someone that reads blogs, not because I don’t like them, I usually don’t find time to sit and read unless on vacation….this will change because of my experience with several pieces on your blog over the holiday. What an enlightening experience and powerful message(s) for me. I share some of the personality traits of the author and wondered often if it was me writing…wow. Thank you for sharing and the impact that you will have on my life.

You replied when I posted on LinkedIn about my Devine appointment with the young man raised in El Salvador and witnessed the evil in this world firsthand.
As I sat here reading your your God inspired writings I found myself trying to catch my breath and then choking back a tear. I have never questioned my faith in my 30 years of walking with Him, but I have had to question Him repeatedly on what path to take and have been living in fear that I am not running down an appointed road and missing His direction. The enemy is out there devouring our young! As the end times continue to sped up in warp speed I keep questioning where He wants me. His response is always the same…”Research end time study in correlation to political current events. Prepare, prepare, prepare.” What I have learned over the past three years since His prompting has opened my eyes to an evil in man’s hearts that I never knew existed before. I weep over the loss of my innocence and the realization that there is more evil than good in the world. Feeling that I must do something else besides pray and prepare I ask time and time again. “I am giving someone else the plan and they will give it to you when the time comes. Right now prepare.” God gave me the gift of evangelism
and feel like we have all been put on speed dial.
Your writings will be used as my daily devotions. I thank God for bringing you into my life!
